Last December, Clear Channel Radio flipped its progressive format on AM1230 to conservative talk, leaving a vast number of loyal listeners without their favorite radio station.

Ohio Majority Radio gathers them together for the purpose of getting reality-based, progressive talk radio back on the air in Columbus.

"Between the over 2700 people who signed our petition and the over 3000 that signed the petition from Progress Ohio's January campaign supporting Progressive Talk, we bring together a great community says" Russ Childers, Ohio Majority Radio organizer.

"A broad demographic here in Central Ohio is no longer being served by the mainstream media.

We intend to change that."
