House Party/Meet-up Use this event type to host a house party or meet-up in a public place. Get together, have fun, and discuss progressive issues and causes!
Lobby Day Use "Lobby Day" when you are organizing activists to meet directly with legislators.
Meeting Use this event type to host a meeting.
Public Hearings Use this category for hearings on legislation being considered by state, county, or city governments.
Rally/Protest/March Use this event type to organize a rally to show network strength.
Town Hall Meeting/Public Forum Town Hall Meeting or Public Forum event
Visibility/Parade/Honk & Wave Use this event type to organize a visibility event - Create awareness and change public opinion!
Workshop/Conference/Seminar/Summit Use this setting for workshops, conferences, conventions, seminars, summits. If your event lasts more than one day, use the "Duration" pull-down to set the number of hours. Please note that with their RSVP here on ProgressOhio.org, participants are NOT automatically registered with the sponsoring organization. If your event requires pre-registration or pre-payment, be sure to make that clear in your event listing. Write "PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED" and include a website address, email address, or phone number in the event description.
