My Story: I am the Director of Advocacy for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio. I am dedicated to protecting the reproductive freedom of all women and find energy in other people who share this goal. I am particularly excited about proactive choice movements like The Ohio Prevention First Act, introduced May 2006 and the updated version rolling out this year. Such legislation will help to reduce the number of abortions in Ohio by increasing real sex education and access to birth control that are proven means to reduce unintended pregnancy. On a personal not, I am the proud mother of a toddler son and expecting a daughter in June. I am happily married to a likeminded man. We love living in and changing Ohio.
