My Story: I did not give $1 or knock on one door before the 2006 election cycle, but that has all changed. I credit Progressive/Liberal Talk radio for getting me all riled up, and Jon Stewart and Keith Olbermann for reinforcement. I resent the image that George W. Bush (and his group of enablers) has painted of America to the rest of the world. Political discourse has become divisive and uncivilized, thanks to the sneering Fox News, Tucker Carlson, Rush Limbaugh, and Karl Rove. Calling people "unAmerican" has become the norm for those on the "Right". Democrats have been wimps when it comes to fighting back, because they're afraid of the resulting attack ads saying they're "unhinged" or "hypocrites". The American people respect those who stand up to bullies, and the Democratic leadership must come to understand that. I am just one of many to show them the way.
