Help Us Bid Farewell to AM1230 Progressive Talk Columbus fans of WTPG, Columbus's only progressive radio station, are gathering in front of the Statehouse Monday, 11-noon, to say a joint farewell to one of their favorite talk show hosts, Stephanie Miller. It is the last hour of her program scheduled to air in Columbus. ProgressOhio is joining OhioMajorityRadio.com in a send off of the progressive format at WTPG AM1230. Scheduled to speak are representatives from OhioMajorityRadio.com, ProgressOhio.org, along with Mary Jo Kilroy and possibly others. Mayor Coleman has been invited as well. Afterwards, attendees are invited to join a mock funeral procession to Clear Channel Communications, 2323 W. Fifth Ave., to present petitions of over 4500 names from both OhioMajorityRadio.com and ProgressOhio, requesting a stay of execution so that WTPG listeners can attempt to work with Clear Channel to make WTPG viable.
