All I know is that if the Catholic Radio stations are enjoying tax-exempt status then there better not be politicking on their broadcasts. I saw political signs on Catholic church property during the 2006 and 2008 election seasons. In one case for a Dem and another a Republican. This is wrong if the Roman Catholic Church wants to keep its tax exempt status.
The bright side of things are that we had the return of Progressive Talk in Columbus for over a year and during the Big Election season. The GOP election tricksters must have thought twice before engaging in their thug tactics knowing that Dr. Bob had a microphone every day.
I'm not an expert on radio ratings but as Progressive Talk, WVKO kept improving in the ratings and damn near pulled a 1.0 share.
Listeners of WVKO should continue to remember to keep patronizing the advertisers of the station and thank them for supporting the format. Ulitmately, that's what will bring it back.
We were at this point before so we can do it again. These are just my personal opinions.
