As most of you know, I've been working on trying to add information on BillHop for Ohio. For this to be a success in trying to get information out there on pending legislation it needs to be supported by our blogging community.
All of us have our own areas of expertise when it comes to issues, such as education, law, crime, etc. I first encourage you to join BillHop as a member so you can contribute to the discussion. This has the potential of being a huge resource of information.
I know several of you have already joined and have posting/editing rights on the site. I've gotten thru all of the House Bills and about half of the Senate ones but I could have missed pending bills that you feel are important.
I've created a group here on Progress Ohio with a focus on Legislation so even if you don't have the time or want to join BillHop, any discussion shared thru the members of that group would be of a huge benefit in making sure we are following what our Ohio General Assembly is doing.
Thanks in advance to everyone who joins the new group.

Thank you for all your efforts!
I've put up a link to BillHop in lower right of our front page.
Take the recent submission of the data on HB 66 - it appears that this could potentially reduce the days our children are required to attend school from 182 days to 166 days using my children's schools as an example of the number of hours they are in session. Do we really want to reduce the numer of days they attend? Using my calculations of 6 hours - it came out to 166 days as opposed to the current 182 days....
