George Bush is to blame for so much demise and damage to the economy amongst many other things. Hopefully, Obama can step up to the challenge in the next 6 months and approach the situation willing to make a difference. Now, spending isn't the way that we can get where we need to be at as a country. To get out of debt, we can't spend money that isn't there, or as I like to call it, "invisible money". I really think implementing a payroll tax would be in the best interest of all americans and our economy. Just think about it, our economy would stimulate from the payroll tax by our government getting money from taxing each american's income. I believe it was Mitt Romney who is known for this idea, and he is an economic expert. Now, on to other matters. Bailing out every large company such as GM and others isn't the way to do things, it's only a "temporary" fix. You've got to be in it for the long run. Now, I know my ideas don't always have a lot of detail, but I think logically. Think permanent.
