The Hermit Factor
How would you characterize yourself, an introvert or extrovert? Once you have decided on your particular personality, then blend it with either these two bonus traits, gaining unlimited knowledge or gaining unlimited power (not both).
The hermit factor is a numerical scale from 1-10, where 1 (one) is an extroverted socialite and a 10 is an introverted hermit.
Definition: A hermit is a solitary creature often associated with great wisdom or suffering great physical, emotional or spiritual pain.
Case Study: if you think about it, hundreds of brilliant scientists and university professors are often associated with elitism (a politically correct term meaning hermit) where men and women of great knowledge only surround themselves with other like minded individuals. The same goes for power. The expression, "a king to his own end" where absolute power with absolutely no morality is a recipe for solitary confinement.
Application: Hitler - died in bunker (hermit factor 10). Napoleon was then exiled to Saint Helena, a remote island in the south Atlantic Ocean, where he remained until his death (hermit factor - 10) Saddam Hussein found in a spider whole and hung for his crimes against humanity (hermit factor 10). Jim Jones committed communal suicide (Hermit factor 10) and Osama Bin Laden definitely a Hermit factor 10+.
What I appreciated the most about the Navy was the travel. I realized early on that globalization is a disguised form of colonialism where profits take priority over feeding the starving masses. The best way for ordinary Americans to visualize what I saw is the video game "Far Cry 2". "Far Cry 2" accurately describes the "continent" of Africa in strategic terms while visualizing the impoverished economic cruelty and the colonialism associated with international intrigue. An awesome game where globalization is more about bloodshed in pursuit for colonial power than caring for the suffering masses.
Is Africa the problem, No! The problem is the colonial money and the endless body count of broken promises. Africa is ablaze with religious and economic imperialism where raw materials hold more value than human life. Local and state officials who are supposed to oversee Africa's integrity have fallen prey to colonial greed and corruption on an international scale.
Militant factions engaged in piracy off the coast of Somalia and Kenya. Religious discrimination, persecution and complete annihilation at the hands of Muslim colonialism. Economic colonialism where diamonds, ore, timber and life itself represents an assortment of dark and demonic commodities for profit.
Africa's hermit factor represents a wide range of cultures and peoples from refugees seeking asylum, mercenaries seeking profit for hire and power hungry warlords seeking to eliminate all political rivals.
What about America's hermit factor. I predict our present economic disaster will lead to a colonial free-for-all similar to what's happening in Africa, and it will be Chavez leading the charge. Obama's socialistic party has already introduced national and international intrigue onto the American stage because of foreign money payable to Obama's campaign. Scientists and university professors realize that they will be the first to be exterminated if they don't align themselves with this new colonial movement. Obama's mission is to destroy all corporations, corrupt our economic foundation and destroy the legitimacy of State's Rights.
Obama has already received his bouquet of black roses from Osama Bin Laden, Chavez and Putin. Welcome to our next 100 years, American colonialism on an African scale. What will your hermit factor be?
OBTW, Ted Strickland campaigned for jobs in his first election as governor, so where are they? Charlie Wilson campaigned for jobs in 2004, so where are they? Nov 2010 is Ted Strickland's day of termination with Charlie "poverty" Wilson next on the butcher block. Say no to socialistic colonialism and Yes to America.
