Columbus pastor to be guest of "State of Belief" this weekend

Reverand Tim Ahrens of First Congregational Church UCC is scheduled to be a guest of Welton Gaddy's Air America Radio show, "State of Belief." The show is a production of The Interfaith Alliance Foundation and AAR.
"State of Belief" can be heard in Columbus on 1580 WVKO-AM every
Saturday, 10-11 AM and is replayed Sundays, 7-8 PM.

State of Belief is a good show. Regarding WVKO Sunday morning programming, it's heavy on the gospel music and preaching. That's ok, of course, but it's inconsistent with the rest of the progressive talk format. WVKO is traditionally a black station, and I suspect this is holdover from their former programming. I'm not complaining, but I'm always surprised when I get in my car Sunday mornings and get a "Praise Jesus!"
