In this video, Barney Frank faces down a thundering Bill O'Reilly, who calls Frank a "coward" and accuses him of causing the mortgage crisis. "Here's the problem with going on your show. You start ranting, and the only way to respond is almost to look as boorish as you," Frank responds. "This is where your stupidity gets in the way of rational discussion."

For those who like seeing Robert's Rules of Order applied as a contact sport: In this video, Frank kicks Rep. Patrick McHenry all over the House floor for his ignorance of parliamentary procedure. "'How many times?' could not conceivably be a point of order. It could be a question, but it could not conceivably be a point of order," Frank bellows, prompting a defensive House member to bring up Frank's past rants. "Comments on the past behavior of the Speaker may be interesting," Frank says, "but they are not points of order!"

Congressman Frank has introduced a 2007 bill that would require corporations to allow non-binding shareholder votes on executive pay. When Republicans try to stall using a parliamentary motion. Frank takes the floor and asks: "Mr. Speaker, does whining come out of my time?"

In September 2008, as the financial system was collapsing, House Republicans voted down President Bush's proposed $700 billion bank bailout--an act that caused the worst stock market slide in U.S. history. Minority Leader John Boehner and GOP whip Eric Cantor blamed Nancy Pelosi for the "nays," saying she poisoned the debate by making a "partisan speech" before the vote.
In this video, Barney Frank says he is "appalled ... because somebody hurt their feelings, they decide to punish the country." "Give me those twelve people's names," Frank quips, "and I will go talk uncharacteristically nicely to them."
