Strickland Says He'd Like Franklin County Judge Eric Brown To Seek Democratic Nomination for Chief Justice

Gov. Ted Strickland said today he has asked Franklin County Probate Judge Eric Brown to run for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court in the Nov. 2 election.

"I can't tell you he's made a final decision, but I have urged him to," the governor said in an interview.

No Democratic candidate has declared yet in the race for chief justice against the Republican candidate, Justice Maureen O'Connor.
