Post from Dave Harding's Blog:
Suzanne's Final Ballot
Suzanne lived in Columbus and on October 8th she voted.

Three days later, she passed away.

She had been diagnosed with late-stage cancer; her last wish was to vote in this election.

Her son shared his mother’s story with us.

Now we’d like to share it with you.

Please watch the video and Please Vote!

I don't know what to say, except I'm thankful she got to vote. It is the duty of every American to keep our government in check. Liberty and Justice for All...

Quite a testimony!

Wow...what a testimony to be able to hold on long enough to vote! And there will be many who are capable of going to the polls before or on Tuesday, but who will not go, and have no other excuse than apathy. We've been complacent far too long--now is the time to make each and every vote count. I voted last Tuesday and I will have to say that I am more excited over this Presidential election than any of the ones I have voted in--this is my ninth presidential election! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you vote in this election--it could very well change the future of our country.

Touched

I just watched the video, and I got goosebumps. I am very touched about her last wish to vote. I stood in a two hour long line yesterday to vote. Even though it was a long wait, I was impressed by the number of people waiting to fill out their ballot. One girl even passed out bc it was warm in the library where we were waiting. I agree that no matter who you vote for, get out there and vote!!!

Courageous Family!

This is a very impressive family. Considering
how courageous their mother is (she's around
but in a different way now) it is understandable
that they have picked up on that courage. Yes,
we take voting for granted. Her example will
influence many to do the right thing and vote!
I think you guys should rent the limo she
was going to rent on election day and celebrate
along with her and for her! Blessings and keep
influencing others! Diana

Suzanne was a terrific mother and a caring friend. Her legacy lives on in her kids and in her determination and commitment to vote. It makes me very happy to see her story spread. I know it will make a difference.
Rest well, Suzanne. I miss you.
