The Right Wing Blogosphere is up in arms with George Voinovich's performance today on the Sean Hannity Radio Show. It sounds to me like all of his constituents would be just as upset had we heard the show.
Keeler Political Report: It was a "trainwreck of an interview." "Voinovich's attitude was truly unbelievable."
Laura's Musings: Voinovich was, plain and simple, arrogant, uninformed, and angry about being questioned by the American people. It's quite embarrassing to me as a Republican that he is a representative of my party.
Paindealer: "We may have just heard the beginning of the end of Voinovich's political career on live radio."
Nasty, Brutish and Short live-blogged the whole affair.
The Senator then says he has been threatened by people calling his office, telling him this is the end of his political career. "YOU DO NOT INTIMIDATE GEORGE VOINOVICH" he yells. It is the fault of talk radio, he says. But then he says if you don't like how he votes, you should take it into consideration the next time he's up for re-election.
All in all, an appalling spectacle. The Senator acted like a spoiled, petulant child.
Looks like "weepy" George really went overboard today and to think he did it on right wing talk radio.

(Seriously, I can't wait to hear an MP3 of that segment of the Sean Hannity Comedy Show.)

Sen. Voinovich wants a fence to keep the cheap labor in and Hannity wants a fence to keep the brown-skinned people out.
I sure hope someone is out there digging around to find out who does Hannity's yardwork, etc.
