Today, John McCain will continue his "It's Time for Action Tour" by traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana, a city still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
You can see above where John W. McBush was the day Katrina hit the city.
In a further and perhaps even greater insult to the City of New Orleans and it's residents, on September 18, 2006, Pastor John Hagee — whose endorsement Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said this past Sunday he was “glad to have” — told NPR’s Terry Gross that “Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans.” “New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God,” Hagee said, because “there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came.”
Meet Team McCain: Pastor John Hagee
Will McCain apologize to New Orleans today for:
- 1) what he was doing as Hurricaine Katrina hit the city and
- 2) for the remarks made by Team McCain endorser Hagee against Gays and the City of New Orleans which can only be categorized as John McCain's "Hate Talk Express"
Or will the Media give him a Free Ride on this too?
