Fighting the Smears: ORP's Dewine Uses Obama Smears To Fundraise
So hey, ORP Deputy Chairman Kevin DeWine . . .

Hows the fund raising going with your positive message about John McCain and his policy positions?

Not to well I suppose, and maybe that's why you've taken to fund raising off of lies and innuendo about his apparent opponent Senator Obama.

Had your latest Fund Raising Missive passed over to me and seems you really should get a fact checker over there at the headquarters or should at least change the channel from Fox News:

Yes, your list "troubles" me too.

Let's take your points one by one, shall we:

Campaigned in Germany for one-world government.

Your not attempting to say that Obama saying:

“I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before, although tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for president, but as a citizen — a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.

equals campaigning for one-world government are you?

So Reagan campaigned for one world government too?

Ronald Reagan's fifth State of the Union address:

And tonight, we declare anew to our fellow citizens of the world: Freedom is not the sole prerogative of a chosen few; it is the universal right of all God's children. Look to where peace and prosperity flourish today. It is in homes that freedom built. Victories against poverty are greatest and peace most secure where people live by laws that ensure free press, free speech, and freedom to worship, vote, and create wealth.

Turned one of Israel's holiest sites into a campaign photo-op.

Which of these is unlike the other?

Canceled a visit with injured troops at a U.S. military base (but had plenty of time to work out at the gym).

Incompetent: McCain ad attacks Obama for not visiting the troops by using video of Obama visiting the troops

Andrea Mitchell Vouches For The Fact That McCain Ad Lies

Refused to consider the advice of military leaders in Iraq.

Again, change the channel from FOX.

Picked up the endorsement of the president of France.

That's so 4 years ago . . .

It was an unusual site for a Democratic presidential candidate to be standing side-by-side with a French president. Four years ago, Senator John Kerry spent months fighting back impressions that he appeared too French – even though he wasn’t – and conservative commentators used to create a caricature that likely affected his candidacy.

But I suppose that this really ticks you off:

Without criticizing President Bush, whom he also has hailed as a good friend, Mr. Sarkozy suggested Mr. Obama would change the way the world views the United States.

“The America the France loves is an America that’s far-sighted, that has ambitions, great debates, strong personalities,” Mr. Sarkozy told Mr. Obama as their joint news conference began. “We need an America that is present, not absent. We need friends who are independent but who are true friends. And you have to know that here in Europe, here in France, we’re watching with great interest what you’re doing.”

Hope we'll see your corrections up soon!

PS: Sorry you can't find a postive message about your candidate to fund raise from!
