I'm sorta sick of republicans talking about faith only during an election.
George W.Bush has done nothing about gays or abortions
Yet, now all the republicans have been divorced, had affairs, their children don't even talk to some . . yet, the republicans say they believe in FAMILY VALUES.
Bush lied about iraq and weapons of-mass-destruction. He attacked the wrong country, has killed 3500 American soldiers, over 27,000 American soldiers are injured for life.
It is time to change parties to a decent Democrat.
I'm so sick of republicans hiding behind the BIBLE.
Make no mistake: This is a way of preserving the "white Christian male power structure".
"Anti-choice" means: "We white males hereby declare that women are emotional and can't make decisions for themselves."
"Anti-gay" means: "We white males hereby declare that homosexuality is a decision ... and that it is a bad decision."
It would be nice if "faith" returned to its original meaning: "It takes faith to believe that there is a God and an Afterlife. If someone doesn't have faith that these things exist, then that's OK too."
