It must be "Traumatic Hypnosis"
What do you call it when, a young girl is beaten,
told she "ain't worth shit" and,
is reassured that her pimp is the only one who loves her,
so she agrees to be intimate with men she just met, so the pimp can get rich?
It must be "Traumatic Hypnosis."
What do you call it when, a young boy is demoralized,
told he "won't amount to anything" and,
is reassured the military can make him a man out of him,
so he agrees to undergo hardships and kill people he doesn't know, for the state?
It must be "Traumatic Hypnosis."
What do you call it when, a collage kid is threatened with no income,
told "their idealistic dreams and noble thoughts are passé" and,
is reassured that they can be taught the skills they need to make it big,
so the kid shuts down that beautiful part and agrees to "dog eat dog" logic?
It must be "Traumatic Hypnosis."
What do you call it, when a whole planet of people, watch two towers disintegrate with people still in them, dozens of times in instant replay, before noon, on September 11th,
then they are authoritatively told that it is the work of extremist Muslim radicals in a cave in Afghanistan,
followed by bold reassurances that the Amerikan President and military will get justice and insure that it never happens again,
so we rush to eliminate the "Constitution" engage in "Two Endless Wars," go along with a "Stolen Election" raise the price of gas to "Four dollars a Gallon," inflate the "price of food" for the gain of the people responsible for the mess, and only the extremist patriot radicals make a fuss, yes, it must be "Traumatic Hypnosis" it must be "Traumatic Hypnosis" what else would make us put up with such complete and total barbarism washed in bullshit? Yes that's it, it's "Traumatic Hypnosis" alright. I'm sure it's traumatic hypnosis.
