Issue 3 Face Dan Gilbert Loaned Corrupt Mayor Big Bucks

Via the Cleveland Leader, the Detroit Free-Press is reporting that Dan Gilbert loaned disgraced Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick a substantial amount of money after his felony conviction earlier this year.
Kilpatrick owes the financially ravaged city of Detroit a million dollars in restitution. During a hear yesterday, it emerged that Gilbert and others have loaned or gifted him nearly a quarter million dollars.
