Post from Dr. Box's Blog:
Excitement for change in OH's 12th district!!!

WOW!!!

We finally have a candidate who can unseat the smug and misguided Republican Pat "Tee-Berry"!!!

The candidate, who DESERVES YOUR VOTE to clinch the OH 12th district Dem primary is called Dr. David Robinson.

Watch his new video* and  pass it on.

A less competitive allbeit nice fellow Russ Goodwin (sorry Russ, but I'm going with Robinson) got the OH Dems endorsement. Goodwin very likely won't beat Tiberi.

The main reason to get Robinson in there is that he can really change OH, the US, and the World for the better.   Al Gore thought so and chose Robinson!

Your progressive freind,

Dr. Box

I agree, but...

I agree that it is time for change and to get excited about a candidate that can bring down Tiberi. He has been an ineffective leader and it is time for change. However, I do not believe that Robinson is the man for the job. I am supporting Aaron Dagres for the 12th nomination. I hope that many of you will join in my support. You can visit the campaign site at Link.

Excitement in 12th District
By Michele Feb 22nd 2008 at 3:17 pm EST
For a minute I was so excited, then I realized the blogger wasn't talking about the 12th District COURT OF APPEALS race. But while we're at it, let's chat about what's brewing here.

THere are 2 very well qualified Democrats running for a newly created seat and a vacancy due to retirement. Bruce Carter from Fairfield, Butler Co.(www.carterforappeals.com) is running for the newly created seat. Laura Curliss from Wilmington, CLinton Co.(www.electcurlissjudge.com) is running against p/t Area Court Judge Bob Hendrickson.

Bob Hendrickson though has a contender in the primary: Mary McElwee, a p/t Magistrate from Wilmington/Blue Ash (conjectured carpet bagging issues here) Yesterday the HAMILTON JOURNAL did not endorse the Butler Co. GOP-endorsed Bob Hendrickson; instead they endorsed part-time Magistrate Mary McElwee.

Folks keep your eyes on this race. It is going to be a good one.

Gray Hunter, I don't know if I can make your event, but I look forward to celebrating the occasion--for real-- in 8 months.

That's all assuming Brunner can count better than Blackwell...a real factor in any American race--especially in Ohio...against a rubber-stamp Republican.

A great slate of Congressional candidates, but Robinson is a superstar.
