End Presidential Pardons and Clemency

An Amendment -

The president shall not have the right to
grant pardons or clemency.

Michael Collin

The prospect of the criminal in chief, George W. Bush, issuing pardons to his co-conspirators is repugnant to all citizens who've paid any degree of attention over the last eight years.

He neglected his duty prior to 911 resulting in a devastating attack on the nation.

He started an illegal war based on lies that caused injury and death to tens of thousands of U.S. soldiers and the deaths of over 1.2 million Iraqi civilians.

He ordered the illegal wire tapping of citizens, a clear violation of law.

He stopped scientific research causing the suffering unto death of those with illness and injury that could have been healed during his term.

GM, Ford - Won't Pledge to Buy American

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D, OH) asking GM, Ford, and Crysler,
'Will you buy American if we give you taxpayer dollars?'

Michael Collins

"Scoop" Independent News

(Wash. DC)  The CEO's of General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler were in the Capitol  Thursday asking for $34 billion dollars to stay in business for the next few months.  The three companies are now at the top of the corporate "dead pool," with a bankruptcy for GM possible by the end of the year.  They appeared before the Senate Committee o Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

Senator Sherrod Brown (D, OH) provided one of the most telling moments when he asked the three chiefs to commit to continued purchasing from United States automotive suppliers at the same or increased levels in return for federal bailout funds.

Suppliers for GM, Ford and Chrysler are located across the country.  A GM bankruptcy would resonate through the aftermarket, original equipment (for new cars), and heavy duty parts suppliers creating broad based economic hardship.

Tasks Ignored During the Bush Reign of Horror

Michael Collins
"Scoop" Independent News

The last eight years can best be described as the illegitimate rule of deviant forces bent on enriching the few at the expense of the many.  Poverty is up, real income is flat for the majority of citizens while the elite have "super sized" their holdings with a callous disregard for the nation and economic realities.

The phantom "Yellow Brick Road" has come to an abrupt end through an expression of will by the people.  President-elect Obama won by a wide margin in the popular vote and an even wider margin in the Electoral College.  He is their choice.

"Scoop" Independent News

(Wash. DC)   With the help of the Ohio Election Justice Campaign (OEJC), Robert Owens, Independent candidate for Attorney General and Delaware County, Ohio attorney filed suite Friday, Oct. 31 in Delaware Common Please Court to open up the presidential election to independent observers.  The OEJC alone has observers at polling places in 87 of Ohio's 88 counties to document events and encourage fair and legally compliant elections. But Delaware County is saying no to these citizen witnesses.

AP Poll - Setup for a Stolen Election?

AP Poll "Tightens" Race to a Point

Michael Collins

The Associated press came out with a remarkable poll Thursday.  It claimed that the presidential race had tightened from the consistent leads Obama has shown over the past weeks to become one of those "too close to call" national elections.  Their poll, conducted by German polling firm GfK, showed 44% for Obama and 43% for McCain.

How could this be?  In the Real Clear Politics average of major national polls, Oct 24, Obama's average lead is 7.5%.  The four national polls conducted on the same days as the AP poll show an average 9.2% Obama lead.  The polls after the AP "tightening" effort shows an 8.7% Obama lead.  Clearly the AP-GfK poll is an exception or outlier, as those are called.

Yet the AP presents this as news, not opinion.

Voter Fraud - The Dog that Didn't Bark

Michael Collins
Also published at the ACLU Blog of Rights

We're having our quadrennial encounter with the menace of voter fraud.  We are to believe that gangs of undocumented aliens and the unemployed will vote illegally or, if registered, on multiple occasions.  They'll do this to capitalize on the fraudulent registrations secured by paid operatives who can't make money in any other way.  We're told that this alleged pattern is a menace to democracy.

This is not a new part of the political dialog.  The charges have been around for decades.  They've been revived with real vigor over the past eight years.

A 900,000 Vote Shift to Obama

Michael Collins

(Wash. DC)  An amazing political and social event is under way in three critical swing states.  Virginia and North Carolina show a major shift by white voters benefiting Sen. Barack Obama.  Florida whites are also moving but at a somewhat slower rate.  The total number of white votes shifting from McCain to Obama is around 900,000 currently.  That number will vary depending on turnout and campaign events.  The exact size of the vote shift is important but it's not nearly as significant as the "white shift" phenomena.

New 2008 Democratic Primary Voters Are The
Key to Election Protection

Michael Collins
"Scoop" Independent News

(Wash. DC)  There's one major obstacle blocking a theft of the 2008 presidential election.  It's highly significant and challenges even the most devious minds.   That obstacle is "net new" Democratic primary voters in 2008.  "Net new" Democratic primary voters represent the difference between primary turnout in 2004 and 2008.  More on that in a moment.

White House and Congress Suspend Democracy
To Help Wall Street

Michael Collins

(Wash. DC)  The White House and Congressional leaders from both parties announced a tentative bill to bailout failed financial institutions.  The bill is a response to the $700 billion initially request by the White House last week.  The bill allocates $250 billion to start with a total authorized of $700 billion.  The money will cover the losses of distressed Wall Street firms facing bankruptcy due to bad investments, primarily in risky real estate securities known as subprime securities and "derivatives."

There were no provisions announced to bailout citizens facing foreclosure or help with their bad investments.

Just Say No

Michael Collins

(Wash. DC)  We're being blackmailed into accepting the responsibility and debt for the worst managed financial institutions in the history of this country.  The starting price, our debt, is $700 billion dollars.

What's really about to happen is that the failed financial institutions will be rewarded for their bad behavior.  As a result, they and others will be encouraged to do it again.  It's just a matter of time.

We're under the gun and told that we have just days to make a decision to bailout these mismanaged entities.  The last thing they want is an open hearing on the problem.  Deliberation is deadly for them.

Palin's Dominance Dooms McCain

The Morning After the Party's Over

Michael Collins

(Wash. DC)  Senator John McCain can't live without Sarah Palin but he can't live with her either, at least not much longer.

McCain is much like Professor Rath in "The Blue Angel."  He's infatuated with someone much younger and he has joined the carnival just to be near her.  The Palin act travels from one town to the next attracting crowds of Bush-Cheney dead enders.  She steps forward, with the confidence of a high school cheerleader while the full professor of perverse politics looks on with admiration and affection.

$1.1 Billion Giveaway for the Republic of Georgia Announced:

Georgia's Economy"
The White House, Sept. 3, 2008

Michael Collins

(Wash. DC)  We're not talking about the great state of Georgia, which deserves everything it has coming to it and more.  We're talking about the Republic of Georgia, a nation of 4.5 million people wedged between Russia and Turkey.

On Wednesday, September 3, the White House announced a comprehensive aid package valued at $1.1 billion dollars to help the Republic of Georgia recover from the whipping it took after it attacked Russian peace keeping forces in South Ossetia, a breakaway province of Georgia near the Russian border.  That region experienced a major war in 1991 and varying tensions since.

Russian personnel were in Georgia as part of a multi-national peace keeping regime created by the United Nations and endorsed by the European Union in 2006.

White Paper Justifying Iraq War Written
Three Months before Intel Report Arrived

A war based on deception and fraud Worldpassion cc

National Security Archive Stunner

Michael Collins
Washington, DC

The National Security Archive released a report Friday Aug. 22, 2008 that sheds even more light on the premeditated lying and deception that took the United States to war in Iraq.   The findings are based on new evidence compiled by Dr. John Prados and published by the National Security Archive.  See "White Paper" Drafted before NIE even Requested , "Scoop" Independent News, Aug. 24, 2008.

Most notably, Prados shows the depth of the deception perpetrated against citizens and Congress regarding the alleged threat to U.S. security posed by Iraq. It had appeared that the White House rewrote the Oct. 1, 2002 National Intelligence Estimate and then issued that doctored report to Congress on Oct. 4, 2002.  Prados reveals convincing evidence that the Oct. 4 White Paper had already been written by July 2002.  He shows that it was only slightly altered after the final NIE arrived. This White Paper served as the basis for the war.

A Review of Bugliosi's -- The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder

Vanguard Reviewed by Michael Collins

The Prosecutor and the President

Vincent Bugliosi wants George W. Bush prosecuted for murder. There are others who are complicit in the crime, namely the Vice President and Condoleezza Rice, but Bush is the target of this famed former Los Angeles prosecutor (the Charles Manson case) and best selling author (Helter Skelter and The Betrayal of America as two examples).   He is undeterred by the virtual major media blackout on interviews and advertising. He's taking his case directly to the people through alternate media and the internet.

(See Part 1)

If a man carefully plans and executes the killing of another, we call him a murderer, arrest and try him, then send him off to the nearest death chamber.  In many states, individuals convicted of three felonies are subject to an automatic life sentence under a program quaintly referred to as the "three strikes and you're out law."  Justice for ordinary citizens in the United States may not be swift but when executed, it is final and unforgiving.

But when a national leader fabricates evidence to support the reasons for war thus causing death to thousands of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of civilians, what do we do?  We give him 24 hour a day, 7 day a week protection, a stretch limo and a deluxe plane with all the gas he'll ever need, and a house full of history and helpers in the middle of the nation's capitol.  We call him "Mr. President."

In his new book, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Vincent Bugliosi makes a devastating, well documented case that President George W. Bush is guilty of murder as a result of the lies he told to justify the invasion of Iraq.

How did we reach our current state of decline in just eight excruciating years? Aren't we working hard enough? Was there some millennial shift in consciousness and morality? How could we elect leaders like Bush and Cheney and their minions on Capitol Hill?

Mark Crispin Miller's latest book, "Loser Take All," provides an explanation that precedes any other: election fraud. In his collection of essays, Miller shows that the losers took everything in both the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. That made all the difference.

Mark Crispin Miller's new book, "Loser Take All," identifies and analyzes election fraud, the foundation of extremist power in the United States since 2000. Manipulated elections have enabled everything we've experienced from the Iraq war to the current economic meltdown. None of that would have been possible without the ongoing series of "surprise" wins for extremists and their enablers following the outright theft of the 2000 presidential election.
