Glad to see it reported that the Obama campaign did communicate with Canadian government in contradiction of his Ohio campaign speech promises . . Now they say he is not against NAFTA, just wants to review fine print details. Urging all Ohio voters: Your vote matters so much - better watch out for the "fine print" before casting a vote for Obama.

Last week, I was slammed for my blog asking about blurry issues and incongruities in a Presidential candidate background, I realize, in review, the best guide for undecided voters is this: Find out the truth for yourself. There are so many well documented Obama lies on numerous issues (from his actual voting record pro the war to his absences, inactivity and 'present only' legislative record (from Illinois and the Senate) to his actual relationship with indicted Rezko slumlord; not to mention his recent NAFTA chat with Canada (reported and verified by Canadian (not US) TV); or reaching back to his touching fiction about how his parents met and his Afganistan tale (in a recent debate) which has riled up veterans who quickly spotted its falsities, and on and on. So don't kill the messenger. Wake up and check out the verified details on Barack's many lies: it's easy if time consuming: Just google: Obama lies and see for yourself - hopefully before you vote. It all can seem very confusing until the underlying pattern is recognized: Obama says whatever he thinks his current audience will want to hear. Heaven (of whatever religion) help us if he actually were put in charge of keeping his so inspiring (but oft contradictory) "words".

I recently decided to check out Obama's website. I was surprised to find my first google search referred me to an Obama website where I had to supply my contact information before I could open any pages. After I did so, the next page that appeared was only for making campaign contributions. Finally, I went back to google and found a lower-listed Obama website for actual information.

When I looked for the issues section, what I mainly found where speech quotes and brief summary paragraphs of his overview statements about each issue (not exactly, specifically, what he would do nor any detailed plans for how he would do it.

By contrast, I was impressed with Hillary Clinton's home website, where a full list of issues was highly specific both in cause and in detailed plans for execution. Specific issues, for example, (notably absent from Obama's) were a crucial program of credit reform and a detailed plan for nutrition improvement requirements for schools that receive federal funding along with a much needed expansion of pre-kindergarden care (with details of how it will be funded).

Reviewing Hillary Clinton's website info on her policy plans and means of executing many needed reforms (economy, energy, lending, the foreclosure crisis, education reform, etc.) not only excited my enthusiasm for the breadth and depth of her vision, it gave me a real education and inspiration on the improvements possible for us all if she becomes President.   Read More »

To one who has listened closely to all the debates, as well as researching the candidates, it is truly remarkable the lengths to which Obama shape shifts to reach the audience of his current intent. One example of many is his religious affiliation. Note the following: His Catholic school in Indonesia listed him as a Muslim (which excused him from all religious classes or training). when did Obama become a Christian (as he avidly claims to be)?His mother was not His only Christian church affiliation is more centered on African roots (including celebrations in neither the American nor Christian calendar) and has a set of tenets based more in support of sociopolitical causes than any teachings of Jesus.

In true turn coat Obama form, he drew back from being identified with the only Christian minister he has had (Rev. Wright) as soon as he announced his presidency. And in rebuttal of his father's Muslim roots, recently countered with the following: Obama wrote in a Time magazine piece posted online on October 16, 2006, that "although my father had been raised a Muslim, by the time he met my mother he was a confirmed atheist, thinking religion to be so much superstition."; (According to other bio information, his father (who had four "wives" of whom the mother of "Barry"(now known as Barack) was #2, with the sticky issue that his father was still married to #1 when he took up with her) was an active Muslim until he became an "atheist" later in life. Note finally that his mother had a record of Communist leaning and that Obama (above quote) now disclaiming his father's Muslim faith, says instead his father came to view ALL religions as "superstitions".
