Via email, a candidate's spouse has informed me that Centerville-T is requiring voters to provide all of the following:
The source also stated: "I asked if this was really required and the lady said, Oh yes."
After talking to him on the phone he stated that all of the poll workers were extremely friendly, they just didn't know what they were doing because their directions had been confusing. He checked several other precincts in the Washington Township area and they were only requesting one form of ID like required.
If anyone is available in southwest Ohio, it would be nice to get further confirmation regarding this location:
Is anybody else starting to notice a pattern with poor instructions to poll workers?

I drove out to Lyndhurst 1-E at Ridgeburry School to check on more voter problems that I had been tipped off to. This site was quiet as well and people seemed to be voting just fine. After speaking with a poll worker he informed me that one machine had been down for about 15 minutes in the morning. Apparently a poll worker had installed the tape for the printer incorrectly and the machine had been jammed. After reinstalling the tape the machine was back up.
Once again, this comes back to issues stemming from the Secretary of State's Office providing poor instructions and training for the poll workers. Since Blackwell has been campaining for Governor for the last 2 years Monty Lobb has been more or less running the office. Obviously Monty and Ken's guidance to poll workers across the state have been less than stellar.

I stopped by precinct 1-H near Coventry in Cleveland Heights (one of the strongest D precincts in the area) to check on the election issues that made national news this morning. After a chating with the local democratic precinct captain who phoned the problem in this morning, and poll workers, it appeared that things were pretty much under control. Although there were conflicting reports, poll workers informed me that they had had problems connecting printers to voting machines during their initial setup (they stressed that there had been no problems with the memory cards). Also, channel 19 Cleveland news was on the scene with a live feed for their afternoon broadcast.
I'll be driving around northeast Ohio for the remainder of the day with a video camera. If you hear, or see, election issues please email me at jerid.kurtz@gmail.com.
And go vote DEM and Brunner so we can take care of this incompetence once and for all.
