"Sen. Sherrod Brown's victory this evening demonstrates that Ohioans like politicians who fight for them. This victory is a clear signal that big corporations can't buy elections and that voters want elected officials who fight for them, not special interests. This race also demonstrates that divisive social issues do not fool voters. Fighting for constituents is the winning formula."
