After the teacher in your child's classroom, one of the most critical figures in your child's education is your local representative in the Statehouse. That couldn't be clearer after far right politicians cut $1.8 billion from Ohio's neighborhood schools.
If you're reading this, there is an excellent chance you'll have a chance to vote for one of these three candidates to represent you and the school-aged children in your life:
- Maureen Reedy is Ohio's Teacher of the Year. She knows what our children need to be better prepared for the jobs of the future. She will fight to protect education, local services like safety forces, and create good jobs for the middle-class.
- Heather Bishoff is a mother of 4 kids in public schools, is a small business owner, and Ohio's Solider of the Year. She will fight to protect education, local services like safety forces, and create good jobs for the middle-class.
- Donna O'Connor is a special education teacher in Dublin Schools. For 19 years she has seen what works in the classrooms, and it isn't the $1.8 billion in cuts that Rep. Mike Duffey voted for that could result in higher property taxes. She will fight to protect education, local services like safety forces, and create good jobs for the middle-class.
Local educators agree that these are the right people to get the job done when it comes to education:
If you want to stop the politicians that think our children's education is a bad investment, vote for Bishoff, O'Connor and Reedy this November.
