Every ten years, Ohio goes through a process known as "redistricting" in which the boundary lines for Statehouse and Congressional districts are re-drawn.

Instead of a fair system--the politicians and their greedy special interests friends have grabbed the power, turning our current system into "we the politicians" rather than "we the people." Ohio's redistricting process has been rigged by corrupt politicians and their greedy special interest friends.
--What does this mean for Ohioans?
It means that special interests get to have more input in who gets elected than voters do. It means that we end up with politicians in office who are more concerned with protecting their own perks and benefits than working to find solutions to move our state and country forward. They have stolen our voice, our vote and our power--rewriting the rules to benefit themselves at our expense. This measure is a step towards meaningful reform that ensures that neither party can unfairly dominate state politics and makes sure that decent people who want to actually fix our problems can compete against the career politicians and win. With Issue 2, decent people who want to solve our problems will finally get a fair shot at ousting the career politicians.
