The music video takes place at our annual March Against Violence. This year, ProgressOhio employee Minister Kyle Earley brought together ex- gang members and hip hop artist together for a Stop the Violence song (written by Kyle Earley and national recording artist August Stylz) and music video.
During that day they spoke to families about stoping the violence in our neighborhoods, hip hop artist spoke to kids about the dangers of PLAYING WITH GUNS AND PURCHASING ILLEGAL GUNS. It was powerful.
By no means is Kyle a hip hop artist, but he did take advantage of the opportunity to bring the streets and hip hop music together and present a positive message to our city.
This video has been viewed by clergy, elected officials, family members and community at large and the response has been very supportive.
