Be one of the first to hear when the Supreme Court rules!
The much anticipated U.S. Supreme Court Ruling regarding the Federal Health Care Law, the Affordable Care Act, is expected any time between now and the end of June.
We know how important health care is for Ohioans which is why you we need your help now to prepare for any possible outcome from the U.S. Supreme Court ruling regarding the Federal Health Care Law.
We don't know how the court will rule, but we do know that Ohioans need quality health care for everyone in our state, no exceptions.
The Healthy Stories Express is a collaborative effort of health care advocacy organizations holding various events across the state to listen and collect stories on how the federal health care law has assisted Ohioans. Collaborative partners include: ProgressOhio, UHCAN Ohio, Know Your Care, Alliance for Retired Americans, Communities United of Ohio and Health Care for America Now.
Two Ways You Can Help:
1.) Share your story of how the federal health care law has or will help you or a family member.
The media need to hear from everyday people like yourself as to how the federal health care law has helped them. Please take a moment to write down your story to share it with us.
2.) Sign up to join the Healthy Stories Express Rapid Response Team:
Hear breaking news of the Supreme Court Ruling and to attend a Rally near you the day after the ruling is released.
If you sign up we will contact you with details of a rally near you that will be held at a pre-set time and location the day after (whichever day that is) the ruling is released.
If the law is upheld, we'll celebrate the benefits of the ACA that thousands of Ohioans can count on. If part or all of the law is overturned, we'll take action to spotlight the influence that the 1% has on the Supreme Court and make sure decision-makers hear loud and clear that Ohioans still need affordable health care and we won't stop fighting for it.
