For decades politicians have protected their jobs and their friends by rigging how we draw congressional and legislative districts - leaving voters out in the cold.
Leaving politicians in charge of drawing our districts is like letting the foxes guard the henhouse.
With this amendment, an Independent Citizens Commission of Ohioans will be in charge. Politicians, lobbyists and political insiders need not apply. Everything the Commission does will be out in the open for all of us to see.
