WASHINGTON — Years after leaving Washington to become Ohio governor, Ted Strickland is returning to the nation’s capital. Strickland, a Democrat who served 12 years in the U.S. House and was Ohio’s governor from 2007 to 2011, will join the left-leaning Center for American Progress Action Fund as president beginning April 1, the center announced yesterday.
